"Wilbur B. Hall’s Shop; Small silver plated goods made in large quantities. The factories of Wilbur B. Hall, located on school street, gives employment to 25 or 30 hands on the small silver plated productions, such as napkin rings, mustard and pepper receptacle tops, individual peppers and salts, ash trays, tooth pick holders, etc. Many of the larger factories buy their smaller wares from Mr. Hall rather than to bother with the making of them themselves. The business was established in 1882, and in 1885 moved into its present building... " (Excerpt from above.)
