Handsome new building will house Home National Bank; plan finally accepted and contract is awarded [with illustration of bank building to come]. Meriden Morning Record, pp. 1 & 7, col. 4. Most difficult engineering feat ever attempted in Meriden— Indiana limestone will be used in building; The directors of the Home National bank... have finally accepted a set of plans and awarded the contract for moving the present building and constructing a new one to Fred T. Ley, Inc., of Springfield, Mass., and New York... will be a distinct ornament to the city... The interior of the building will be finished in Tavanelle marble, and bronze grill work...
