The Henegouwer Zoo in Rotterdam, the Netherlands is pleased to announce expansion of its community programming. As a result, our Zoo is now accepting applications for the post of:
ESL Instructor (6)
Applicants should have the following backgrounds:
> MA TESOL or RSA diploma
> At least 5 years of teaching experience
> Curriculum development experience
> Proven research track record
> Experience teaching learners in challenging situations— including low motivation and cooperation settings
Remuneration includes salary based on experience and credentials, the European holiday plan, retirement plan, dental plan, paid conference attendance, research budget, and membership to the finest ESL acquisition organisations. Applicants must be EC citizens or have existing working privileges in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
Henegouwer Zoo offers a challenging and rewarding teaching and learning environment with team-spirited programming. As part of our ongoing, government-funded research entitled “English for Everybody”, this post specifically caters to teaching new, untapped students. Hence, the #6 position is specifically designated for teaching our family of elephants, giraffe, and husband-wife Siberian tigers. Therefore, if your cat, dog, or bird understands your English, please do tell us your stories.
