Exhibitor registration is now open for the 4th International Packaging and Printing Exhibition for Asia

After a highly successful edition last year, organizers Messe Düsseldorf Asia, The Thai Packaging Association and The Thai Printing Association have announced that PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL 2013 (PPI) will be held from 28 - 31 August 2013 at BITEC, Bangkok, Thailand.

With the theme “inspiring better business beyond borders” exhibitors and visitors can look forward to an even bigger and better edition of Southeast Asia’s No. 1 event for the printing and packaging sectors. Showcasing the latest technology, products and solutions, PPI is Asia’s leading packaging and printing exhibition serving the entire supply chain. Together with seminars, technical presentations and a host of networking activities the exhibition meets the increasing demands of the dynamic Southeast Asian packaging and printing industries.

The Asia-Pacific region is a major force in the printing industry, with the packaging and publication sides both enjoying strong growth. Packaging continues to be the largest end-use sector across Asia and is expected to grow to US$ 66.5 billion in 2014. The overall increase in the Asian print market is expected to be driven by real growth in Sheedfed Litho, Heatset and Flexography as well as high growth in Digital Technologies through to 2014.

Home to 500 publishing houses, 5,000 printing and 10,000 packaging companies, Thailand is Southeast Asia’s printing and packaging hub. However other countries in the region, such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam or Cambodia, show a lot of growth potential too, for example with expanding food processing sectors or stronger investment opportunities.

“In order to serve the increasing demand for packaging and printing products, technology and solutions in the region and therefore the need of exhibitions like PPI, we see the necessity to once again provide a comprehensive business and networking platform for the industry to engage face-to-face with international clients, suppliers and customers,” said Beattrice Ho, Senior Project Manager of PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL.

“Over the years the exhibition has grown from strength to strength and after PPI 2011 a number of exhibitors have already committed their support for the next edition in 2013,” she added. Chalee Srirotjariya, Sales Manager at Canon Marketing – Thailand for instance was very impressed with their third participation at the exhibition and he looks forward to come back in 2013.

Recognising PPI as an ideal platform for brand building, to increase awareness and gain market presence in Thailand, Qi Xian Yun, Managing Director of Sanxin Printing Machine Material is “planning to come back in 2013 with a much bigger booth”.

Last but not least Heidelberg Graphics (Thailand) has confirmed their support for PPI 2013 as well: “We exceeded our sales targets at PACK PRINT INTERNATIONAL, and based on this year’s show, we are very confident we will be back in 2013,” said their General Manager Keith Patten.
